Our first day was setting up and getting our bearings. Now we are leaving the Island to go to Cape Patterson.
Our next stop is Flat Rocks where mum has read there are Dinosaur footprints, down the steps walk in a line approx 10 Oclock for 100m. This is what we saw when we got there. HIGH TIDE.
So no beach walk to find the footprints.
Next we stopped at Inverlock where we walked the jetty and then along the coastal walk into town where we saw a wooden Ketch called ‘The Ripple’.
We are now back in the car and travelling back to Cowes on the island. We have parked up down near the beaches and are about to walk out on the jetty before having a walk up into Cowes town centre.
This is my view of Cowes from the end of the jetty.
