My day started with my walk as usual, then at 9:00AM Bill and Lucy arrived at our caravan and we all got into dad’s car. We thought we were all going out for the day, we were so wrong, we got dropped off at the kennel’s while the adults went wine tasting in the Barossa.
My account of what they did from listening to the conversation after they picked us up.
After picking up Linda (a friend of Barry’s) they set off to taste wine in the Barossa calling in at the first winery to be told they were fully booked for wine tastings today (this being 10:00AM) so sorry. Next stop was Jacobs Creek at a cost of$20.00 per person for a tasting. After tasting five wines they had had less than half a glass of wine total. Cheapest of the wine to buy was $65.00 a bottle (they didn’t buy any).

To the next winery and same answer sorry you have to book and we can fit you in later this afternoon. There were four cars in the carpark and eleven people sat at a table inside with probably thirty empty seats, glad that they are making enough money to be so choosy and not have walk-ins.
Now back to me been in a pen all day but herd a car 4:00pm yes mum walks around the corner to pick me up. Made a big fuss of mum then when i got to the car jumped all over dad.
Back to the caravan and my own bed.
